Turkey Day

I had a wonderful Thanksgiving with Kenny's and my family. :)
I cooked for all of us and enjoyed all the chopping and preparations
In the morning, the guys played football in the biting cold.
I went out to take some photos for as long as I could stand it.
My Pepere was out there!! He just turned 74!!
The kiddos were there to cheer them on, but D kept saying, "I cold!!"
Caron Family Football 2010

Then I had to go in and prepare the hors d'oeuvres...
Then started making sure all the sides were HOT and ready to rock!!
If you didn't make a mess...you didn't do it right!!! ;)
THE BIRD!! Came out Delicious!!
Made me remember how nervous I was last year, the very first time I cooked...
Mom posted this blog...

It's taken me a few days to post because
K and I went to Laconia for the weekend to celebrate Scotty's 30th birthday. :)
We had such a fun weekend!!
I wish they weren't so far away!!!

I hope everyone had an amazing Thanksgiving...
we all have so much to be thankful for. :)

smile

A woman at the grocery store today
told me that my shoes made her smile.
That made ME smile.

Wishing everyone pre-Turkey Day smiles.
:) :) :)
Now, I'm off to go slay a turnip...

Happy Birthday, Bethanie!!

Happy Birthday to my sister, Beth!!
Her birthday was on Thursday. I met her and her friends for dinner and
we did not stop laughing the whole time!! We had an amazing time.
B is not only my sister, she is one of my very best friends. :)

The Patriots won last week for her little LiviGirl,
and this week for her!!
The Pats beat the Colts this week 31-28.
It was a great game!! (because WE WON!!!) ;)

Look at Danny Woodhead!!
So obviously the "little guy."
He scored a touchdown and then made the tackle on the ensuing kick-off!!
It was AWESOME!!
He does things and gain yards that are earned only by true determination.
He should be an example to us all!!
GO PATS!!!

Love you, B!!

HAPPY LIST

I've just started a "happy list."
My inner-list began at my WW meeting tonight when our quote for the week was,
from my leader, or at least she was pretty sure she made it up. :)
"There is ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS something to be thankful for."
My list flowed back and forth between happiness, joyfulness, and thankfulness..
What a blessing it is already!! :)

that's just a rough, rough draft
I've already added

Christmas
baby pictures
CHALLENGES
inspiration
warmth
blogging
when people really love my food
hugs
magazines
MY SISTERS
pink boxing gloves
CARBS
croutons
date nights
pillows
beauty
simplicity

My list might just be ENDLESS!!
What's on YOUR "happy list???"

:) :) :)

Celtics Game with the BOYS :)

Last night we went to the Boston Celtics game at the Garden.
The Celtics played the Milwaukee Bucks,
which is my B.I.L Ryan's favorite basketball team
(he is never one to root for the home team...)
K and I posed with the Red Auerbach statue at Faneuil Hall
and we were especially excited for the game because Paul Pierce,
the Celtics long-time captain, was on the cusp of 20,000 points scored in his career,
all of which he has spent as a Celtic.
Only two other Celtics have ever reached this monumental accomplishment,
John Havlicek, and Larry Bird
both of whom are Celtic legends and legends of the game.
He needed 23 points...
We had our fingers crossed!!
The game was tight all night. Ray Allen was lookin good.
Hitting shots...Especially from his sweet-spot...3's from the baseline... :) :) :)
K, of course, refusing to take a "normal" picture...
We had a blast up in the CHEAP SEATS!!
K.G. is DOIN WORK!! But this is really a CLOSE ONE!!
OVERTIME!!!!
And..You know what that means???
Even though Paul Pierce only has 16 points...He's got FIVE MORE MINUTES!!
There it is!!! You're lookin' at it!!
HISTORY!!
Literally being made in front of your eyes!!
HE DID IT!! :) :) :)
And the CELTICS WON!! :)
(at this point I was way too excited to take a decent picture!!)
(that carried on to the T station...) ;)
Oh, what a night!!
I love this picture for its promise...
NEXT STOP:

We're not sure yet. :)
But I can't wait to find out.
Hand in hand with a man who loves me. :)

While I was going through my pictures tonight
I was listening to Miranda Lambert's song "Makin' Plans"
and it brought a tear to my eye...

'Cause I'm not easy to understand
But you know me like the back of your hand
I'm your girl and you're my man
And we're makin' plans....

We can go on and on
Won't ever feel too long
I'll always call you home
And we'll go on and on

'Cause I know you like the back of my hand
Got a heart of gold and a piece of land
I'm your girl and you're my man
And we're makin' plans....
