Visitors

Usually, when I haven't posted in a while,
it's because my little life is in some sort of unusually boring drought...
not this time!!!
I have been busy busy and spending time with some of my very favorites. :)
Uncle Brian, my mom's brother, came to visit from Sedona, Arizona.
He is one of the most generous people I know...
He is an artist and photographer and gave me one of his cameras.
Ummm...YEAH! That's a Nikon D200!!
I gotta step my photography game up!! :) :) :)
He even spent two hours helping me to learn to use it.
I have been messing around a bit,
but I will be sure to start posting some pics when I "get good."
~Thanks so much, Uncle Bri!! Love ya!!~

On Sunday, one of my very besties came from Lowell for a visit...
The one and only ALANNA :) :) :)
We stayed up WAY too late
catching up, goofing around, laughing, drinking (more than we should...)
especially since Dayt the Great was here bright and early Monday morning.
HAHAHAHA!!! I love me some Lana!! :) :) :)
Dayton trying to convince me, "Move all this stuff so I can fit in here!!" ;)

On Tuesday, we had a special visitor at PlayGroup
Johnna's adorable nephew, Luke. :)

Liv and I did a little shopping and a little crafting...
We puffpainted Livi a sparkly crown and a denim purse,
and I bought little Violet this Easter outfit...
I'm going to girly it up with pink and purple swirls. :)
I'll let you know how it goes.
I couldn't resist it,
I was inspired by the kiddos eggs...

Liv was so proud of her twinkle star purse...
The crown wasn't dry in time for a photoshoot...
but you know that's coming. :) :) :)

Tomorrow, the Red Sox will be visiting (please note post's common thread)
the Texas Rangers for their first game of the season. :)
Next Friday will be their home-opener against the Yanks.
Baseball makes me SO HAPPY! :) :) :)
GO SOX!!!

~wishing all my wonderful readers good luck and good fortune ;)~

Saturday was the NBYB Skills competition...
Two of my kiddos were big winners and they all did GREAT!!
And there's my dad, giving his end of the year speech...
he does so much for the kids to teach them to love the game he loves so much. :) :) :)
~Ty made me this~ <3

I'm so sad bball is officially over...but Summer Ball is right around the corner. :)
HOPEFULLY!!
Today, the official first day of Spring...IT SNOWED!!!
Dayton and I stayed in and did a sticker book and played and watched movies...
I'm hoping it'll be melted when I go to get Liv for playdate tomorrow. :)

pizza

Yesterday, Livi and I made pizza for supper. :)
Then, as part of an "eat your pizza and you can have an oreo" bargain,
"Uncle Tenny" taught her the art of the perfectly dunked Oreo. :)
Then, "I do it by myself."
As you can see...she caught on pretty quickly. :)

Tonight I took Mom out for a birthday dinner,
but first,
the evolution of an outfit...

I bought a shirt at Marshall's for $1.00...
it was on clearance because the front zipper was broken, missing actually,
so I added this button...
It's sleeveless, so I've been looking for just the right thing to wear with it...
I went to Ally's Alley,
a fairly new consignment shop in Spencer.
Got this Princess backpack for Liv and this scarf for me ($2.00 each)
and this lacey shirt for $8.00.
I was hoping it would be just the right thing...
I figured it just might be. :)
(blogger's note: this is POST-FOOD BABY) ;)
Soooo...that's $10.00 jeggings, a $1.00 shirt, and an $8.00 shirt on top. :)
Not too shabby. :) :) :)

So, back to the pizza...
Mom and I went to Enrico's
We dined on a delicious Caprese salad and a white pizza called
"The Godfather."
This photo is the leftovers at home!! Still looks "BOMB."
We had a wonderful time. :)
I love dining out and having some Q.T. with Momma.

Well, it's back to work tomorrow...
I'll be doling out Corned Beef and Cabbage and Green Beer!! :)
Happy St. Patty's day, all!

A Happy Birthday to my Best Friend and Blogger Mom
(her blog is way better than mine)

and...just so you know...
I am runnnnnnnning every day (still hate it)
and have my 5K down from 40 to 30 minutes
with 6 weeks left to train. :)
HaHaHaHa!!!
That's sweat...I used to be so embarrassed of it...
but now I say, "I JUST WORKED REALLY HARD".

the new saturday...

My "Lowell friends" (as I have come to call them since moving back home)
and I always used to say, "Monday is the new Saturday."
Since we're all in the restaurant business, we work all weekend
and our "weekend" begins on Mondays, and we look forward to our day off
and would often make plans to have some fun.
This Mon/Tues was a super fun weekend. :)
I made some super yummy food,
hung out with the kiddos,
and my Lowell friends came to visit. :) :) :)

Started with lots of vegggies...
and made a teriyaki stir-fry over white rice.
and...while the kiddos watched Batman
I made this "Protein Loaf"
(egg whites, oatmeal, cottage cheese and fruit).
Delicious and Nutritious. :)
Then on Tuesday (the new Sunday)
the L-town peeps insanity ensued...
Bri put on a puppet show. HaHaHa
There were big smiles all around. :) :) :)
We had a great weekend.
For those of you looking forward to the
more traditional days of rest and/or fun...
Enjoy the weekend!! ;)
